In Carolina Herrera's Bad Boy Cobalt Parfum Electrique, an aromatic lavender is the main note that I smell throughout this fragrance. With the first spray, it opens with a great burst of airy lavender that is more fresh than sweet compared to other scents that use lavender such as Y EDP Intense or Sauvage.
My skin is the kind that keeps the fragrance smell for more time than you expect it to last when the weather is warm , I get like 12 hours of savage (projecting around 2 hours), and like 9 hours on Ysl edp Y (around 1. 5 hour of projection ), something weird I noticed is that, a very sweet Frag like Eros, Ultra male, after 6-7 hours, they are completely gone,I just have weird skin I guess.
I still like Y edp overall but I think I need to spray it right out of the shower instead of right before i leave cause honestly it can come off a bit cloying. With Y EDP, I always get over 10 hours of wear out of it. It never lets me down with its performance. Y Le Parfum, will stick around for 6-6.5 hours, on my skin. That’s not terrible, it’s just that Le Parfum is no marathon runner. It’s really not even a contest here.

YSL Y EDP performs amazingly for me. I get a very strong projection & longevity. My guess would be that you went noseblind to it which is common for fragrances that are a bit on the stronger side. Overspraying isn't going to help that, other people around you will be able to smell you before you enter a room. kye2000.
Absolutely love this. I don’t own any other sweet fragrances but I can see the similarity to YSL Y EDP (sold that bc it always gave me a headache) or Invictus but this is the best IMO. This stuff is pretty nuclear, 1 spray is all you need. The dry down the next day is absolutely top notch 10/10. Last forever, especially on clothes.

Allure Sport EE is my favorite of the three. As for performance this is my experience: Y EDP has the best performance lasting 8+ hrs on clothing. Strong projection for 3-4 hours with 4 sprays which is actually too much IMO and gives me a headache. CAHSEE has good projection for 2-3 hours then dies around the 5-6 mark.
